It's Official!

Yesterday, I picked up my E-2 teaching visa from the Korean Consulate here in Atlanta, so now I'm ready to LEGALLY go teach in Korea! This was the last step in the process, and words can't explain how happy I am to be finished with paperwork! I was a little disappointed that they kept my NOA (the paper that says I received a teaching position) and contract, just because they were cool mementos. But on August 17th, I'm heading for Korea! WOOOOTTT!

The past seven months of classes, fees, background checks, IRS stuff, fingerprinting, and sending international mail have finally paid off! Now to start the arduous process of fitting my life for a year into two 50-pound bags. Really, they're like 43-pound bags since they take up weight themselves. This should be fun!

Btw, my city is the fuchsia area on the map below, in case you were wondering :-)
